Look what landed on my snowy porch today. Two copies of the German edition of GOODNIGHT, ARK! The German title means “Sleep Well, Noah.” The book is darling. It’s a little more compact than the U.S. edition, but just as much fun. The text is in German, of course, but, amazingly, it still rhymes and is ever so delightful to read. (My husband, who took German in high school, read it to me.) I now extend my thanks and admiration to translator Carolin Moussa for capturing the story so well in German verse!
What a thrill to see a foreign language edition! Gratuliere! (Which is supposed to mean Congratulations! I think)
Thanks for celebrating with me… and in German too!
Das ist gut! 🙂
Thanks, Iza.
How fabulous, Laura!
Thanks, BJ. What I think is extra special is that it still rhymes. And it sounds so nice read in German.
How exciting!
Yes, Pam. Thanks.
How wonderful, Laura! And how impressive that it still rhymes!
Yes, that takes talent on the part of the translator.
I am so PROUD of you and love you so much!
Jeananne
Oh, you are making me cry, Jeananne! =)
How fun! When is the French version coming out? 🙂
Now I would LOVE that!
How fun! You could collect these in so many languages! I wonder if it will come to Korea!
A Korean version would be something to treasure.
Yay! Congratulations!!!
Thanks, Penny.
Schoen!!!
Thanks!
